Integrate Aplauso and work with trustworthy data

Use approved integrations, server-resolved environment controls, supported exports, and reports to connect Aplauso safely with your operations.

The environment is resolved by the server for the authenticated account or approved integration. A client must not choose or override it from a local value.
Approved integrations should handle repeated events without creating duplicates.
Live, sandbox, and demo data remain separate. Use only the environment and methods Aplauso currently authorizes for testing.

The practical path

  1. 1

Request access to an approved integration and review the capabilities currently presented for your account.

  2. 2

Use only credentials issued by the approved integration flow and grant the minimum permissions required.

  3. 3

Treat payment statuses and records presented by Aplauso as the official references. No recorded payment status by itself confirms receipt by the recipient’s bank or other destination.

  4. 4

Use stable identifiers and Aplauso records for destinations, allocations, and statuses. Do not recreate financial logic in a client.

  5. 5

Test an authorized flow in the environment Aplauso presents, verify the recorded result, and contact Support for discrepancies or errors. Do not change a payment status manually.

Common questions

Can we test an integration without real charges?

Yes. Use only the test environment, credentials, and payment methods Aplauso currently presents as authorized for the integration. Keep the records separate from Live mode. A test result does not prove production availability or receipt of funds.

Should an integration calculate tip sharing itself?

No. Aplauso manages the allocation rules and resulting records. Read the records presented by the approved integration instead of recreating financial logic in a client.
