Aplauso makes all tip and payout data available for export so you can use it in payroll systems, accounting software, or business intelligence tools.
What Data Can Be Exported

How to Export from Mission Control

Sign in to Mission Control (mission-control.aplauso.io) as a Property Admin or higher.

Go to Insights > Reports.

Select the report type, scope (employee / department / property / organization), and date range.

Choose your export format:
- PDF - formatted printable report with charts
- Excel - structured data with summary and raw data tabs
- CSV - flat file for import into payroll or accounting systems
- JSON - structured data for developer use

Click Download to get the file immediately, or Email Report to receive it by email.
Scheduled Reports
For regular payroll cycles, configure automated reports that deliver on your schedule:
- In Mission Control > Insights > Settings > Scheduled Reports, click Add Scheduled Report.
- Configure:
- Report type (e.g., Employee Earnings Summary)
- Scope (property or specific department)
- Frequency (weekly on Monday, monthly on 1st, etc.)
- Recipients (one or more email addresses)
- Format (PDF, CSV, Excel, or JSON)
- Save. The first report delivers at the next scheduled time.
Using Tip Data in Payroll
The Employee Earnings Summary CSV is designed for payroll integration. Each row represents one employee for the selected period:

Import this file into your payroll system to add tips to employee pay stubs. Since Aplauso pays out directly via Stripe to employee bank accounts, tips may already be paid directly - check with your payroll provider on the correct treatment.
Personal Data Export (Employees)
Individual employees can download a copy of their own data from Settings > Account > Export My Data. This generates a JSON file with all their tip history, ratings, and profile data. The download link is emailed after processing (usually within 24 hours).
Enterprise Data Access
For large properties or organizations that need programmatic access to raw transaction data for custom BI or payroll pipelines, Aplauso offers:
- Scheduled CSV drops to cloud storage (GCS or S3)
- Read access to the BigQuery analytics dataset
- Custom data schemas on request
