The QR Templates page (my.aplauso.io → QR Templates) lets you create professional, print-ready materials featuring your personal tipping QR code. Choose from ten color themes and download in multiple formats for any use case.
What QR Templates Are
A QR template is a designed card or panel that includes:
- Your personal tipping QR code (the link to your aplauso.io/rate/ page)
- A call-to-action prompt (e.g., "Rate my service & leave a tip")
- Your name and optional property branding
- A color theme matching your venue aesthetic
Templates are ready to print without any external design tool.
Available Color Themes
There are 10 color themes to choose from:
- Classic White
- Midnight Black
- Ocean Blue
- Forest Green
- Rose Gold
- Warm Sand
- Electric Purple
- Coral Sunset
- Slate Gray
- Brand Match (uses your property's primary color)
Browsing Templates
The Templates page displays cards for each theme/style combination:
- Filter by style (All, Minimal, Bold, Branded, etc.)
- Preview each template with your actual QR code embedded
- Click any card to open the detail modal for that template
Downloading a Template
In the template detail modal:
- SVG - scalable vector for professional print shops; infinite resolution
- PNG - raster image for home printing or digital sharing (high-resolution, 300 DPI equivalent)
- PDF - print-ready file for direct submission to print vendors
Recommended for professional print: Download SVG and submit to your print vendor with bleed marks. For table cards, request 90 × 55 mm (business card size). For door hangers, request 70 × 210 mm.

Minimum QR code print size: 2 cm × 2 cm (0.8 × 0.8 in). Larger is better in dim lighting.
Does My QR Code Change?
No. Your personal tipping URL is permanent. Once templates are printed, they remain valid as long as your Aplauso account is active. You do not need to reprint if you update your name or photo.
Manager-Generated Templates
Property managers can also generate brand-aligned templates for all employees at once from the property management dashboard (Manage → Properties → QR Codes). These include the property name and logo. Ask your manager if you need branded templates for your whole team.
