Aria is the AI assistant inside the Aplauso Business dashboard. Select Ask Aria from a Business view to ask questions about the organization, property, department, or outlet that you are authorized to access.
Aria works from the current Business scope and reporting period. It does not use a broader property, organization, or environment merely because you ask a broad question.
What Aria can help with
Aria can:
- explain customer satisfaction and identify how strong the available evidence is
- compare properties, regions, departments, outlets, teams, and people within your permitted scope
- identify customer relationship signals that may need recovery or a thoughtful follow-up
- prepare a decision-oriented briefing for the selected reporting period
- explain verified current tips, ratings, and tip-sharing settings without treating missing data as disabled
- link you to the relevant Business view for customers, opportunities, team evidence, or performance
- prepare supported setup changes for your review
Scope, reporting period, and evidence
At the top of Aria, confirm the displayed Business scope, reporting period, and environment. Aria keeps those boundaries for the conversation.
For an analytical question, Aria shows the evidence it used and labels the confidence as strong, directional, limited, or unavailable. Treat a customer relationship or satisfaction decline as a signal to review, not proof of a cause or outcome.
Aria intentionally does not expose internal identifiers, credentials, tokens, payment-card details, or monetary tip amounts in Business answers. Use the appropriate authorized finance or transaction workflow when that level of detail is required.
Ask better questions
Start with a decision and a scope. Examples:
- "What changed in customer satisfaction at this property this month?"
- "Which teams have the strongest evidence of consistent service quality?"
- "Which customer relationships may need a thoughtful follow-up?"
- "What should I discuss with leadership this week?"
- "What tip-sharing and ratings settings are active in this property?"
You can personalize the operating-unit term that Aria uses and choose a default comparison: previous period, previous month, or previous year.
Supported changes
With the required Business capability, Aria can prepare selected structural changes:
- create or rename a department
- create or rename an outlet
- enable or disable tips or ratings for a department or outlet
- prepare a team invitation
- refresh Demo data in the appropriate Demo scope
- prepare a new, single, 100% shared-team department tip-sharing policy when no governed policy or draft already exists
Aria does not make a material change from a question alone. It first shows an exact preview. You must explicitly confirm the prepared request before anything is changed. A prepared request is bound to your session, can expire, can be cancelled before confirmation, and is recorded in the action history.
Tip sharing limits
Aria can prepare only a simple 100% shared-team policy for an eligible department that has no existing governed policy or draft. For multiple groups, role-based allocation, simulations, revisions, or policy history, use Property Settings → Tip Sharing. Aria will not replace an existing policy or bypass the required review.
What Aria does not do
Aria does not know schedules, staffing assignments, late work, or rework unless those capabilities are added to Aplauso. It cannot override your Business permissions, settle payouts, change bank details, or make assumptions when the selected scope has no confirmed evidence.
If Aria cannot answer
Try a more focused question about satisfaction, team quality, customers, operating units, configuration, or tip sharing. Check the selected Business scope and reporting period. If the evidence is unavailable, use the linked Business view or contact Support with the scope and time range, without sharing passwords, one-time codes, or financial credentials.
