Aplauso supports three environment values: Live, Sandbox, and Demo. Every record and request is evaluated in its active environment. Do not infer that an account, property, recipient, payment method, Wallet balance, or guest entry point is ready in one environment because a related item exists in another.
Use the active environment shown by Aplauso
Live is the environment for the active production configuration. Sandbox and Demo are separate non-live environments used only through the controls and flows currently available to the authorized scope. The product resolves the property environment server-side; a browser-supplied value is not authority to override an environment.
Environment transitions are controlled operations
Changing a property's data mode is a verified transition. While it is being applied, payments and operating changes can be paused until the hierarchy and environment state are verified. Do not switch during an active guest or payout flow, and do not promise an immediate result, a self-service control, a badge color, data purge, or a particular test payment behavior from this guide.
Test safely
Use only an approved non-live flow that your organization can currently access. Confirm the property, recipient, and guest entry point are resolved to the same environment before testing. Then verify the recorded result in that environment without using real customer or payment data. A test result, Wallet balance, or report in Sandbox or Demo does not prove the corresponding Live state.
Get help
For an environment issue, share the authorized property or recipient, the mode currently displayed, approximate time, and a non-sensitive error or reference. Never share card data, bank data, passwords, verification codes, or a token.
