Aplauso provides guest appreciation, rating, and tip workflows for people and businesses using its supported entry points. A published QR link, guest page, or kiosk can lead a guest through the configuration that is active for the property and recipient. It does not promise that every property has the same surface, payment method, room-charge option, currency, or reporting feature.

A guest interaction follows a canonical destination

The guest begins from an Aplauso entry point chosen by the business. The flow can collect the rating and tip details enabled for that entry point. Aplauso then validates the prepared canonical recipient: an employee, outlet, or department. That destination does not change when later allocations or Wallet payouts are calculated.

Supported payment options are contextual. The page shown to a guest depends on the product surface, device, active environment, Stripe configuration, and property settings. Aplauso validates the prepared tip, currency, payment amount, and configured service charge before creating the payment. A displayed success screen is not on its own proof of final settlement; verified provider events reconcile the recorded result.

What employees and businesses can do

An eligible employee can view the personal Wallet state and the available actions shown for the active environment. A payout requires the current Wallet eligibility and the provider account state; it is not an instant or guaranteed bank settlement. Ratings and feedback follow the permitted canonical recipient and access scope.

Authorized Business users manage people, recipient structure, guest-entry configuration, operational work queues, and available reports within their organization and location scope. The exact pages, controls, and data visible to them depend on their role, capabilities, assigned scope, and configuration.

Use the active product state

For a safe launch, use the environment, payment, Wallet, and guest-entry state currently displayed in Aplauso rather than assuming a feature is enabled from this overview. Do not send a guest, employee, or Support a card number, bank detail, password, or verification code. For help, provide the active environment, authorized property or recipient, and a non-sensitive reference.
