The mobile app can present a guest-facing QR experience for the current eligible account and scope. The destination is resolved by the product when a guest opens it. A code or shared link does not give the holder access to your mobile account, private records, Wallet, Business configuration, another recipient, or a payment method that is not shown in the guest flow.
Confirm before you share
Open the QR experience in the app and confirm the visible recipient and context before sharing it. Do not promise that a printed or saved code permanently preserves a name, recipient, feature, payment option, tip amount, service charge, allocation, or outcome; the current authorized product and guest flow determine those details. Do not put passwords, codes, tokens, card or bank data, or private guest data in a QR asset.
If a guest flow looks wrong
Stop before asking a guest to pay again. Record the authorized recipient context, approximate time, visible status, and non-sensitive reference, then verify the current product record. A scan, payment prompt, or thank-you screen is not alone proof of a charge, notification, Wallet entry, or payout.
