Launch managers, guest-facing teams, and kiosk operators

Choose and operate the right guest entry point

Use employee, department, or outlet QR codes, supported NFC entry points, and kiosk configuration to send guests to the intended tipping and feedback destination.

The entry point determines the recipient context a guest starts with.
Employee, department, and outlet pages are intentionally distinct destinations.
Validate a real guest flow after printing or installing materials.

The practical path

  1. 1

Choose whether the service moment should begin with an employee, department, or outlet destination.

  2. 2

Create, download, and place the corresponding QR material where guests can use it without staff assistance.

  3. 3

For kiosk use, configure the device, supported payment methods, presets, branding, and any employee-lookup behavior for that location.

  4. 4

Run a complete test: recipient, rating, amount selection, payment, confirmation, and the resulting Business or Personal record.

  5. 5

Replace or correct any material that points to the wrong destination before it reaches guests.

Common questions

Can guests choose a person or a team?

The available choice depends on the configured entry point and recipient mode. The tip still records one exact destination when the guest completes payment.

Do guests need the Aplauso app?

No. The guest journey is browser-first. The employee mobile app supports employee workflows, not a required guest download.

What should we test after printing a QR code?

Scan it on a real phone, confirm the displayed destination, complete the configured rating and payment path in the correct environment, then verify the resulting record in the appropriate authorized view.
