The FinOps Workbench is an authorized finance-operations surface for reviewing the current environment, scoped payout queue, readiness items, and tracked cases. Visibility depends on the signed-in operator and current scope. A case, alert, readiness item, or queue record does not itself authorize a payout change, provider update, person-data disclosure, financial adjustment, or external contact.

Review the current case before acting

Confirm the environment, organization or property filter, visible status, source record, and available evidence. The workbench can show blocked or retrying items, readiness blockers, and cases, but it does not promise a cause, outcome, fixed retry time, automatic fix, or complete historical provider ledger. Treat unavailable or partial data as unavailable rather than filling gaps with assumptions.

Use only explicit controlled actions

When the product offers an action, review its expected state and required change-ticket or reason fields, then explicitly confirm it. Verify the returned product and provider state afterwards. Do not use a note, queue item, preview, or alert as proof an action occurred. Keep card, bank, tax, identity, password, verification-code, token, and provider-secret data out of cases and Support requests.
