Eligible accounts can have a referral code, link, sharing control, or status view when those features are available in the current product. Use only the code and terms shown to your signed-in account. Do not promise that every account, country, environment, or role can create, claim, or earn through a referral.

Understand the current terms before sharing

The current standard program may provide a 2% share of eligible referred paid-tip volume, funded by Aplauso rather than reducing recipient payouts. Each eligible tip-receiving person, department, or outlet can have a separate cap of up to $300. Eligibility, caps, attribution, timing, payment, changes, and any exclusions are governed by the current in-product and Aplauso referral terms, not by this guide.

Do not describe a referral as income, a guaranteed reward, a discount, or a payment for a click, message, draft, install, signup, profile completion, or payout setup. Recommend Aplauso only to a genuine fit, disclose your referral relationship where appropriate, and do not use unsolicited or misleading outreach.

Share and attribute a referral carefully

Use the current copy, share, or mail-draft control if available. A mail draft is opened for the sender to review and send; it does not send on the sender’s behalf or reserve referral credit. A link being opened, retained through an app handoff, or entered in a form does not itself establish the final account attribution.

For a new account, the first valid referral code successfully claimed during account creation is the canonical attribution. A later code, unclaimed draft, or pending record does not replace an already recorded attribution. Ask the recipient to review the visible code before completing account creation rather than sharing passwords, verification codes, financial information, or private account data.

Read status without overpromising an outcome

Use the current referral view and terms to understand any records, claims, eligible activity, or progress the product makes available. A displayed status is not proof of future eligibility, paid-tip activity, provider settlement, reward availability, withdrawal, or bank deposit.

For a discrepancy, provide the referral code or non-sensitive link context, approximate signup time, and the authorized account or environment. Support can investigate the recorded state but cannot override the current attribution rules or expose another person’s private data.
