Aplauso uses selected providers and internal services for payment, sign-in, room-charge authorization, and reporting workflows. The exact options a person sees depend on the active product surface, environment, property configuration, account state, and provider availability. This guide describes the current boundaries; it is not a promise that a particular provider feature is enabled for every property or guest.
Payments and Wallet payouts
Stripe is used for the supported guest card-payment flow. Before creating a payment, Aplauso validates the prepared canonical tip, its currency, payment amount, and any configured service charge. The server creates a PaymentIntent with an idempotency key and reconciles verified provider events before a tip is finalized. A redirect or client-side success message alone is not final settlement.
Wallet may use a separate Stripe connected account for an eligible employee's payout readiness. That account, the guest's canonical tip destination, later allocations, and a provider payout are separate states. Stripe determines the onboarding requirements and available payout methods; Support cannot promise a fixed bank-settlement time or an identity checklist.
Sign-in messages
Twilio sends the six-digit SMS one-time code when a user chooses phone verification. Resend sends the localized email code when a user chooses email verification. Delivery depends on the configured sender, destination, carrier or mailbox, country rules, and the available sign-in flow. Codes are transactional security messages, not a marketing subscription. Never send a code, password, card number, or bank detail to Support.
Room charge
Room charge is available only when it is enabled for the intended recipient and the active kiosk flow can authorize a matching, active visit. Aplauso issues a short-lived authorization for that visit before accepting a room-charge tip. Do not assume a room-charge button, a specific PMS connection, folio posting, or a particular guest lookup method will be available at every property. Contact Support before relying on room charge for an operational process.
Reporting and exports
Aplauso operates reporting and analytics systems behind the product, including internal BigQuery-based processing where configured. Customer-visible data is only what an authorized Business workspace currently presents. Use the available report or export control for its shown scope and date range; do not assume raw data access, a specific format, automatic delivery, or a real-time refresh cadence.
Integration support
Properties do not configure provider webhooks or credentials through Support articles. For an integration question, share the property, active environment, product surface, non-sensitive reference, and the observed error or result. Support can confirm the current supported path without asking for passwords, verification codes, card numbers, or full bank details.
