Wallet uses a Stripe connected account as the payout rail for an eligible employee beneficiary. A guest payment can still have an employee, outlet, or department as its canonical destination; allocations and later payouts do not change that destination.

Start or resume onboarding

Open Payout setup or Wallet in the mobile app, or open Wallet and then Settings > Payment in the web dashboard when setup is shown. Aplauso creates or validates the Wallet account and opens a single-use Stripe-hosted onboarding link.

Complete the information and any requirements Stripe currently displays, then return to Aplauso and refresh Wallet. Stripe decides which fields, payout methods, country flow, verification steps, and status labels apply. Do not rely on a fixed identity checklist, manual routing instructions, approval time, or specific dashboard control.

Check payout readiness

Wallet checks that the connected account exists, Stripe onboarding is complete, payouts are enabled, and a payout method is available. A withdrawal also requires a positive Available balance. If setup opens again, use the fresh link; the server revalidates the account and can recreate one that was removed, is in the wrong environment, or lost platform access.

Withdraw only from the current balance

The current Wallet withdrawal confirmation submits the available amount shown. It verifies the account, environment, balance, and idempotency key before asking Stripe to create a payout. A payout request is not bank settlement; check the provider-returned payout record rather than promising a schedule.

Protect data and environments

Enter bank and identity details only in Stripe-hosted pages. Aplauso Support will not accept full bank numbers, government-ID numbers, passwords, or codes. Confirm the active Live or Training/Sandbox environment before evaluating a balance or setup state: readiness in one environment does not prove readiness in the other.
