The Home tab of the Aplauso app is your personal earnings command center. It shows everything you need to track your tips, ratings, and performance at a glance.
The "This Week" Card
At the top of the Home screen you will see your This Week summary card, which shows:

| Total this week | Sum of all tips received since last Monday (or midnight Sunday, depending on your locale) |
| Tip count | Number of individual tip transactions |
| Average rating | Mean star rating from all rated tips this week |
| "Live" badge | Indicates data is current - shows when auto-refresh is on |
| % change | Week-over-week comparison - green arrow = up, red arrow = down |
The Stat Cards
Below the weekly card, two smaller stat cards show:
- Total tips to date with percentage change vs. last period
- Lifetime tip count or other aggregated metric
Tap either card to open the Earnings Detail screen.
Earnings Detail Screen
Tap any earnings card or navigate to Home → Earnings Detail to see a full breakdown:
- This Week vs. Last Week comparison with a visual delta pill
- Tip count and average rating side by side
- Last week total and average rating for direct comparison
- Quick-navigation links to: All Tips, All Ratings, Wallet
Viewing All Tips
From Earnings Detail, tap All Tips to open the Tips Detail screen:
- Full list of earnings allocated to you in reverse-chronological order
- Search by guest name or amount
- Period filter: Today, This Week, This Month, All Time
- Each entry shows your allocated amount, date/time, guest name (if provided), and the canonical employee, outlet, or department destination
Tap an entry to view Transaction Detail, including your allocation and the underlying canonical tip. A share from an outlet or department tip remains a collective tip; it is not relabeled as a tip directly to you.
Viewing All Ratings
Tap All Ratings from Earnings Detail to see:
- Ratings canonically addressed to your employee destination
- Filter by star rating (1–5)
- Search by guest name or comment
- Comments stored on those rating records
Outlet and department ratings roll up in Business reporting. They are not converted into employee ratings for every allocation beneficiary.
Refreshing Your Data
Data is cached locally for up to 5 minutes for performance. To force a refresh:
- Pull down on any screen (pull-to-refresh)
- Or enable Auto Refresh in Settings → Preferences
Offline Data
If you lose connectivity, the app shows the last cached data with an "Offline data" indicator in the screen subtitle. A red "No internet connection" banner appears at the top of the screen. Data updates automatically when connectivity is restored.
FAQ
Why does my weekly total reset? The week resets on Monday at midnight in your device's local timezone.
My tip count seems lower than expected. Personal earnings count allocations to your employee record. Business counts canonical tip records, so a shared collective tip appears once in Business but can create allocations for multiple employees.
Can I see tips from before I joined this property? Allocated earnings are tied to your employee record at each property. If you worked at a previous venue on Aplauso, use that employment context to view its allocations.
