The Aplauso mobile app is organized around a five-tab bottom navigation bar. Each tab provides a focused set of features for employees.
The Five Tabs
1. Home (House icon)
Your earnings dashboard. This is where you see:
- This Week tip total, count, and average rating
- Week-over-week performance comparison
- Teaser cards for: Achievements progress, upcoming milestones
- Quick access to Earnings Detail, All Tips, All Ratings, and Wallet
Key sub-screens:
- Earnings Detail - this week vs. last week breakdown
- Tips Detail - searchable, filterable tip history
- Ratings Detail - all your guest ratings with star filter
- Transaction Detail - individual tip details including Stripe transaction ID
- Achievements Detail - unlocked and locked achievements
- Accomplishments - milestones and overall progress
2. Wallet (Wallet icon)
Your payout center. See your available balance, connect Stripe, and access the Stripe dashboard to initiate withdrawals.

3. Share (QR code icon)
Open your personal reward code, copy or share its link, or open Sign Mode to present the QR code on your screen. Guests scan the code and complete the browser-based tipping journey on their own device.
4. Activity (Pulse icon)
Your activity feed. Review recent guest feedback, rating-linked tips, and related updates. The tab shows an unread badge when new notification items arrive.

5. Profile (Person icon)
Your profile hub. Open Settings from here to manage profile details, notifications, privacy controls, wallet details, language, and security options. Profile also links to referral and achievement experiences when they are available for your account.
Hidden Settings Screen
Settings opens from the Profile screen. This is where you manage profile details, notifications, privacy, security, and app preferences.

Pre-Login Screens
Before signing in, you interact with:

Navigation Tips
- Go back: Use the system back gesture (swipe from left edge on iPhone; Android back button or swipe). Back navigation is available in all detail screens.
- Pull to refresh: Pull down on any screen to force-reload data.
- Sign Mode: In Share, open Sign Mode to display your QR code for a guest and use its on-screen lock control when you want to keep the presentation focused.
- Notifications: The app can ask for notification permission and lets you manage delivery and event preferences in Settings.
Referral and achievements
The app includes referrals and achievements for eligible accounts. Referrals can provide a code, sharing tools, an invitation form, and activity status. Achievements show setup progress and earned badges. The exact reward terms and eligibility are shown in the app and referral terms.
