Every Aplauso employee has a unique personal QR code that guests scan to leave a rating and tip. You can display, share, and save your QR code directly from the mobile app.
Where to Find Your QR Code
- Open the Aplauso app.
- Tap the Reward tab (center star button in the bottom navigation).
- Your QR Code sub-tab is shown by default.
Your personal QR code fills the screen, ready to be presented to a guest.
What the QR Code Links To
When a guest scans your QR code, they are taken to:

This is your personal tipping page on the web kiosk. The guest sees your name, profile photo (if set), and tip options.
Sharing Your QR Code
Tap the Share button below your QR code to open the native share sheet. You can:
- Send via iMessage, WhatsApp, or email - guests receive a link they can open on any device
- AirDrop to a colleague or display device
- Save to Photos to use in printed materials
The share message includes your full tipping link so guests without a QR scanner can tap it directly.
Printing Your QR Code
For table cards, door hangers, or kiosk inserts:
- Tap Share and save the QR code image to your Photos.
- Use your photo app or a print service to print the image.
- Alternatively, your manager can generate branded QR code print templates from the Dashboard → Employees → QR Codes section - these include your name, property logo, and print-ready sizing.
Best practice: Print your QR code at a minimum size of 2 cm × 2 cm (0.8 in × 0.8 in) for reliable scanning. Larger is better for dim or busy environments.
Presenting Your QR Code to Guests
The QR code screen is optimized for guest interaction:
- The code is full-width, sized to the screen for easy scanning
- High contrast design works in bright sunlight and low light
- You can tilt or hold the phone toward the guest - no need to unlock or navigate

FAQ
Does my QR code change? No. Your QR code is tied to your employee profile and remains constant. Printed cards stay valid as long as your account is active.
Can I use my QR code even without internet? The QR code image itself displays offline (no internet needed). However, the guest's phone needs internet to open the tipping link when they scan it.
What if I change my name or photo? Your profile tipping page updates immediately - the QR code URL does not change.
