Your Aplauso wallet holds all tips you have received. Use the Wallet tab to check your balance, set up payouts, and transfer funds to your bank account.

Opening Your Wallet

Tap the Wallet tab (second from left in the bottom navigation). The screen shows:

Setting Up Payouts (First Time)

Before you can withdraw, you need to connect a Stripe account:

  1. Tap Set Up Payouts on the Wallet screen.
  2. The app opens the Stripe Connect onboarding flow in a browser.
  3. Enter your personal information (name, date of birth, SSN last 4 - required by Stripe for identity verification).
  4. Add your bank account via Plaid (instant) or manual routing + account number.
  5. Complete verification and return to the app.

Once connected, the button changes to Open Stripe.

Withdrawing Your Balance

After your payout method is set up:

  1. Tap Open Stripe on the Wallet screen.
  2. The Stripe Dashboard opens in an in-app browser, logged in automatically.
  3. In the Stripe Dashboard, locate your available balance and initiate a payout to your bank account.
  4. Standard payouts arrive in 1–2 business days.

New accounts may have a 2–7 day initial hold before the first payout. This is a Stripe requirement for new connected accounts and is not controlled by Aplauso.

Checking Payout Status

Inside the Stripe Dashboard (opened via Open Stripe):

  • Payouts tab: See payout history, status (In transit / Paid / Failed), and expected arrival dates.
  • Balance tab: Available vs. pending breakdown.

Troubleshooting

Balance shows $0 but I received tipsTips may still be pending (less than 24 hours old). Check the tip list.
"Not connected" statusTap Reconnect Stripe and complete the onboarding flow again.
Stripe onboarding page won't loadCheck internet connection. Try again from a WiFi network.
Payout failedOpen Stripe dashboard to see the failure reason. Usually an incorrect bank account number.
Can't see Open Stripe buttonYour Stripe account is not fully onboarded. Complete all required verification steps.
