Your Aplauso wallet holds all tips you have received. Use the Wallet tab to check your balance, set up payouts, and transfer funds to your bank account.

Opening Your Wallet

Tap the Wallet tab (second from left in the bottom navigation). The screen shows:

Setting Up Payouts (First Time)

Before you can withdraw, you need to connect a Stripe account:

  1. Tap Set Up Payouts on the Wallet screen.
  2. The app opens the Stripe Connect onboarding flow in a browser.
  3. Enter your personal information (name, date of birth, SSN last 4 - required by Stripe for identity verification).
  4. Add your bank account via Plaid (instant) or manual routing + account number.
  5. Complete verification and return to the app.

Once connected, the button changes to Open Stripe.

Once connected, the Wallet screen shows Withdraw.

Withdrawing Your Balance

After your payout method is set up:

  1. Tap Withdraw on the Wallet screen.
  2. Review your Available Balance in the confirmation modal.
  3. Confirm the withdrawal.
  4. The transfer is created immediately and appears under Recent withdrawals.
  5. Standard payouts arrive in 1–2 business days.

New accounts may have a 2–7 day initial hold before the first payout. This is a Stripe requirement for new connected accounts and is not controlled by Aplauso.

Checking Payout Status

Inside the Wallet screen:

  • Recent withdrawals: See payout history, status (Processing / In Transit / Arrived / Failed), and expected arrival dates.
  • Available Balance card: See what can be withdrawn right now.
  • Wallet Total card: See everything in your wallet, including funds still clearing.

Troubleshooting

Available Balance shows $0 but Wallet Total is higherSome funds are still clearing. Wait for them to move into the available balance.
"Not connected" statusTap Reconnect Stripe and complete the onboarding flow again.
Stripe onboarding page won't loadCheck internet connection. Try again from a WiFi network.
Payout failedCheck the failure reason in Recent withdrawals and update your bank account if needed.
Can't see the Withdraw buttonYour wallet is not fully onboarded yet. Complete all required verification steps.
