Aplauso sends notifications when you receive tips, ratings, and performance reports. You control exactly what you hear about and how.

Accessing Notification Settings

Go to my.aplauso.io > Settings > Notifications.

Notification Channels

You can enable or disable each delivery channel independently:

PushIn-app notifications on your mobile device (requires the Aplauso app with notifications enabled)
SMSText messages to your registered phone number

Disabling a channel turns off all notifications through that channel regardless of event settings.

Notification Events

For each channel you have enabled, you can toggle individual event types:

Mobile App Push Notifications

Push notifications are delivered through the Aplauso mobile app. If the Tip notification shows in the dashboard settings as enabled but you are not receiving pushes on your phone:

  1. Open the Aplauso app > Settings (gear icon).
  2. Confirm notifications are enabled in the app's notification settings.
  3. Check iOS Settings > Aplauso > Notifications or Android Settings > Apps > Aplauso > Notifications to ensure OS-level permission is granted.
