Open my.aplauso.io > Settings > Privacy to save your personal visibility and data-sharing preferences.
Available Preferences
| Preference | Intended effect |
|---|---|
| Profile visible | Make your profile eligible to appear on guest-facing discovery surfaces |
| Show rating | Allow your public average rating to be displayed |
| Show total tips | Allow a public total-tip metric to be displayed |
| Show reviews | Allow public display of written guest feedback where supported |
| Allow messaging | Allow guest appreciation messages where the guest flow supports them |
| Data sharing | Allow anonymized use of personal performance data for analytics |
Each toggle saves to your account. The exact guest page can also be governed by the location's configuration, assignment state, moderation, and feature availability. Treat the toggle as a preference, not a promise that a particular field is displayed on every guest surface.
Business and Legal Records
Privacy preferences do not remove transaction, payout, tax, fraud, dispute, or employment records that Aplauso or an authorized business must retain or access. Business data access is controlled separately by role, capability, scope, and applicable policy.
Turning off public fields also does not delete the underlying account data. Use the Account section and the account-deletion article for export, pause, or deletion requests.
Verify a Change
After changing a preference, wait for the saved state and then test the relevant guest entry point without using an operator session. If information remains visible unexpectedly, contact Support with the profile or Reward Code URL and the name of the preference; do not send banking details or authentication codes.
