A guest payment and an employee bank payout are different lifecycle stages. Do not promise a universal arrival time based only on the time the tip was paid.

The Money Path

  1. The guest pays a tip whose canonical destination is an employee, outlet, or department.
  2. The saved rule on that exact destination creates employee allocations or dividends.
  3. Eligible employee earnings become available in the employee wallet.
  4. A withdrawal creates a payout through the employee beneficiary's connected Stripe account.
  5. Stripe and the receiving bank settle that payout.

The connected employee account is a payout rail. It does not replace the tip's canonical destination.

What Determines Timing

Payout availability and bank arrival can vary with:

  • payment and allocation status;
  • connected-account verification or restrictions;
  • country, currency, and payout method;
  • Stripe risk review and account history;
  • weekends, holidays, and the receiving bank.

The payout record and Stripe account show the current status and estimated arrival. Those recorded values are the source of truth.

Withdrawal Method

The current Aplauso withdrawal review submits the available amount shown in the wallet through the connected Stripe account. It does not offer a separate instant-versus-standard selector. Use the method, arrival date, and status returned on the recorded payout instead of assuming instant eligibility or a fixed fee.

Checking Payout Status

As an Employee

  1. Open Wallet in the mobile app or personal web dashboard.
  2. Find the withdrawal history.
  3. Open or review the withdrawal to see its state, arrival date when available, method, failure detail, and payout reference.
