The Settings tab (gear icon) lets you update your personal information and customize how the Aplauso app looks and behaves.
Profile & Identity
This section is expanded by default when you open Settings.

After editing any field, tap Save (or your device's keyboard Done key) to apply changes.
Display Preferences
Open the Preferences section to customize the app experience:

Localization

Language and timezone affect how dates and amounts are displayed in the app. They do not change the currency your tips are collected in (determined by your property's settings).
Logging Out
Scroll to the bottom of the Settings screen and tap Log Out. Confirm in the dialog. Your account and earnings data are not affected - you can sign back in at any time.
FAQ
Will changing my name update my tipping QR code? Yes. Your name on the public tipping page updates immediately. The QR code URL does not change.
Can I change my login email? Email changes are managed through your account settings. Contact your property manager or Aplauso support if you need to change the email associated with your Stripe account.
Does dark mode affect the tipping page guests see? No. The guest-facing tipping page at aplauso.io always uses the venue's branding regardless of your app theme.
